The Decision, Again - Bryce James (The Other Son) Officially Committed To Arizona, Turned Down Ohio State And Duquesne

Lost in the middle of the bowl games (playoff games? Still no idea what to technically call them) was Bryce James announcing his commitment to Arizona. Sorry for the delay, got one kid with strep, a sump pump dying on me which leads to some flooding and good times here in the Reags household. Sure, I mean, not exactly shocking that a James kid got a West Coast school going after him.

It does make you wonder if LeBron really is good friends with people though since he turned down Duquesne where Dru Joyce is the head coach. What is annoying is everyone already doing the 'he needs time to develop, he can't be placed under a microscope, let him run his own race' all those sorts of statements. That's not how it works! Rarely do we get to see those sort of comments for anyone else, either play at your level or deal with it.

Good news for Arizona fans is the Big 12 will try not to put them on ESPN+ as much as possible now. You gotta milk the name so put them on regular TV, something that Big 12 fans have been screaming about since that deal happened. You gotta look at the positives of dealing with the circus like we saw at USC when Bronny played last year. TV cameras everywhere, people all over the place, throw in the fact Arizona is typically, you know, good at basketball too. Also important to note, no one knows if it's a scholarship:

Here's his highlight tape if you're trying to waste time at work:

Go ahead and make 'future Laker 2nd round pick' jokes here now too.
