Micah Parsons Makes A Great Point. The Cowboys Could Have Won That Game Against The Eagles "If You Take Away The Scoreboard"
This is how you know that Micah Parsons is a dedicated podcaster. He used to be an athlete who has a podcast. But this is the year that Micah Parsons has officially transformed into a podcaster who also happens to play in the NFL.
Because this is the type of shitpost that only a true content hound could ever come up with. When you're stuck with a microphone in front of your face and you need to complete the most ridiculous mental gymnastics to come up with a take on the spot. You don't actually have anything of substance to say, but you need to have a take anyway. That's what podcasting is all about. Say a bunch of ridiculous shit to generate a conversation, even if you don't have a clue what you're actually saying.
And he's right. If you took away the scoreboard, the Eagles don't win that game yesterday 41-7. All the Cowboys need to do next year is put together some Danny Ocean team to come into Lincoln Financial Field and steal all the scoreboards out of the building. Pull off a heist like that and it won't matter how many times AJ Brown absolutely torches his defender downfield. It won't matter how many times DeVonta Smith ends up wide open. It won't matter that the Eagles' 3rd string quarterback puts an all-out aerial assault on Dallas' defense. Because if there's no scoreboard in the building, then there are no points to be scored. 0-0 sure is a helluva lot closer of a game than 41-7. Say what you want about Micah Parsons, but the man knows ball.
Anyway, it's just great to see that this is where the Dallas Cowboys are as a franchise. This is a team that came into the season with Dak Prescott "speaking into existence" that the Dallas Cowboys would win the Super Bowl in 2024.
Now they're trying to figure out ways to convince themselves that the loss against a division opponent wasn't so bad if you just take away the 5 massive plays they gave up for touchdowns. How 'bout them Cowboys.
