After Further Review, Dorian Thompson-Robinson Is NOT The Future Of The Cleveland Browns

So the Jury had already come back with their verdict on many cases regarding the Cleveland Browns this year. We found out the team stunk within about two minutes of opening kickoff in Week 1 vs the Cowboys. And we found out Deshaun Watson wasn't the answer about Week 5 in Washington, if not two years ago. And then we fell for the Jameis Winston experiment for a few weeks, until 8 interceptions in 3 games showed us that he stinks too. So today we trotted out UCLA's finest, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, to give him a look and see what we've had in the garage. Turns out he's a fucking '98 Saturn with shitty brakes and no muffler, too.

I am not using hyperbole when I say DTR might be the worst quarterback in the history of football. He has the rare combination of ability to get sacked AND avoid sacks to throw interceptions. And if the game were to lose, he would be a Hall of Famer. But until they stop rewarding the team that has the most points at the end of the game, DTR has no place as a starter in this league. So that now brings us to about the 5th straight week of Browns postgame blogs where I pull up the bottom of the NFL standings to see where we'll be drafting in the Spring.

Has there ever been so many fucking awful teams in the league this late into the year? The Panthers are in OT right now and could fall to 3-12. The Pats are huge dogs vs the Bills. And the Jags are playing the Raiders, so SOMEONE will win. But the fact of the matter is that Cleveland is about to finish 3-14 and potentially draft outside the Top 5. That's disgusting. And what do we do with it? I want to be able to do something like draft the best player available, but nothing fucking matters unless you have a quarterback. And while we have now rattled through 3 on the roster in Deshaun, Jameis, and DTR….it's very obvious that none of them should be the guy next year. And if it's not Deshaun, we won't even be able to afford someone like a Sam Darnold.

The Browns are a legitimate dumpster fire. And the worst part is, there is simply no bright spot in the future for 2 years until we have both Deshaun and his contract off the books.
