The Titans Absolutely Should Fire Their Loser First-Year Head Coach, Brian Callahan

Yeahhhh I think we've seen enough of Brian Callahan as the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, I'm all set here. Titans hit a new low this season after the "offensive guru" saw his team score 6 points at home in a loss to the Mac Jones lead Jacksonville Jaguars, yes MAC JONES! This team has done nothing but regress underneath of him this season and I honestly think they are the worst team in football. Worse than the Giants, worse than the Jags, worse than the Panthers, worse than everyone. Hell, I WISH they showed half the fight that Carolina does. This is just an all around bad football team right now who is headed in the wrong direction with a coach who seems in over his head and a promising, young QB who may be looking at his third offensive coordinator in three years. That's for sure not going to help him develop!

They've only scored 20 or more points four times this year. Four times! It's been a dog water year for a guy who was labeled as an "offensive genius". 3-10 after this latest pathetic loss and some folks would say "Well they get a better draft pick", what gives you confidence that Ran and company will even make a good pick with that high pick? I mean not scoring a touchdown vs Jacksonville at home is just insane. It's disgusting, i's embarrassing, it's pathetic, it's laughable, it's Titans football.

When you look at the play calling in the red zone, specifically on the goal line, you realize this loss, the most embarrassing loss of the year comes at the hands of the coaches. This Jaguars defense couldn't stop a JV team, they give up points and yards to EVERYONE, except the Titans baby.

Awful, awful play calls and yes, Levis did miss a guy WIDE OPEN in the end zone but that doesn't happen if they maybe call a run earlier? It's an all around organizational failure, this whole season has been. No one thought they'd be in the hunt for the 1 seed, but my god they've taken 10 steps back this year. Yes, Levis has gotten hurt, but he's also getting the SHIT beat out of him because this line is terrible. The team has not gotten better in any single way as the year goes along. Their defense has played well this year but they're getting tired now, they're on the field a ton because of this failure of an offense, and they're sick of the offense now carrying their end of the bargain. Has to be a lot of divide between the two sides in the locker room, and don't even ask about the god awful special teams that has cost them several games this year.

Week after week this team is not competitive and looks incompetent. Once a weekend we're getting an embarrassing mistake from the guys in two-toned blue, Levis under handing balls, players complaining about the cold, you truly never know what you're going to get with this team, but more times than not it's bad. They shipped Mike Vrabel out of town and look at the fucking egg on their face. Vrabel got every single ounce of talent out of guys, Brian Callahan hasn't shown that he can do that at all, with anyone. Again, I know he's still super young to this team, but nothing about him screams confidence. He absolutely should be on the hot seat, as well as the entire staff.

When you score six points AT HOME vs a team that is giving up an average of 29 PPG over their last 3 games and you have the audacity to start out your press conference talking about the positives from the game? My brother in christ, read the room. The only positive thing was that the game was finally over. What a tone deaf answer and person, you can't have your head coach doing this, you can't. The fact that Mike Vrabel was fired….and THIS is what the franchise ended up with is a joke. Nothing about losing a game to Mac Jones is positive. Vrabel would have had this roster at 6 or 7 wins easy, no doubt in my mind.

It's extremely hard to get excited about the future of this franchise right now, just nothing to even look forward to. They've got some good players but in all honesty it's very hard to find other good things to build around with this team. It's time for this front office to re-evaluate the mess they made in the offseason with this hire, they aren't close to competing. It's a bad division and it's very clear how far they are away from sniffing anything close to a playoff spot. I'm usually all for letting a guy go with the flow for a few years but I think this is a different situation. Nothing about this team, how they've played, the coach himself, NOTHING inspires an ounce of confidence or hope for the future of the Titans. Certainly not with Brian Callahan at the helm.

I had to throw this in there, has any team ever lost to more fired coaches? Hang the banner.
