I could have sworn I checked the app and saw somebody blogged this. But our app is so dogshit now there's a high probability that it was, and disappeared. Or am I just losing my mind. Either way, I'm blogging this. If a a brawl had broken out in the stands at the Texans Jags game today it would be up on the site, so it's only fair that we highlight the players throwing hands also.

Just a totally uncalled for, bush league hit by Al-Shaair on Trevor Lawrence.

Lawrence immediately went full Tua - displaying that weird hand gesture that makes you sick to your stomach to see.

Players lost it, and so did the fans.

Class acts CJ Stroud and Demeco Ryans both spoke on the hit and extended their hopes that Lawrence is ok-

Al-Shaair wasn't exactly remorseful after he knocked Lawrence out cold. Instead he was somehow indignant about the whole thing, trying to fight Lawrence's teammate.

Moose Johnston stated the obvious-

And then after Al-Shaair was ejected, he was pelted with trash exiting the field.

Azeez Al-Shaair appears to be a thoroughly despicable individual, according to all accounts. A modern student of the Vontaze Burfict school of dirty hits.

Not sure what the hell was going on this weekend, but there were tempers flaring all over the place on every football field it seemed all day yesterday and today. Maybe it was a full moon? Either way, there's no place in the game for this type of behavior.
