Rock Bottom - A Kentucky Player Left The Sidelines To Hit Up The Concession Stand Mid-Game, Sums Up The Embarrassment Of This Season
I can't believe I have to write a blog about this, but this is rock bottom for Mark Stoops. You have a player, granted an injured player, leaving the sidelines as we got our ass kicked by Louisville to go get concessions. How does that happen? Oh, right, because Mark Stoops screams about accountability and does nothing. It's why Ja'Maroi Maclin says this:
Before I completely lose my shit, I need to know what Mincey's order was. Was there 20% off the concession stand like there is at store.barstoolsports.com? Hard to argue if people want to leave an ass kicking and rock bottom to save some money like you can on this stuff:
I don't care if you're injured, you sit your ass on that sidelines and don't get caught getting some Sour Patch Kids at the concession stand. Send a trainer or manager or someone else up there to get it for you. I'm not even sure how you end up here and it's pretty clear it's from the game considering Mincey is wearing the same jersey we wore during yesterday's funeral. Oh and as for Mark Stoops? Fuck outta here with this sort of talk man:
You did your job. You had Kentucky consistently winning 7 games a year, peaking at 10. But now? Now you're stuck. You tried leaving us last year for A&M and that failed. You lost control of this program, fans don't trust you and we've reached a Calipari-standoff. You don't get to walk around and talk down to people when you've blown games with decision making and teams consistently aren't ready to compete. Yesterday was embarrassing. Yesterday was a team who quit and a coach who quit. Bring him home.
Thank God this season is over. Most embarrassing season in Kentucky football since Joker Phillips was around. One final laughingstock is seeing a player getting some concessions mid-game.
