A Thanksgiving Miracle! Tyrese Haliburton is Back To Being Awesome

I feel like it's been all doom and gloom for Indiana sports as of late, so to lift everyone's spirit, I'd like to go around the table and let everyone share what they are thankful for. Me, I'm thankful for Tyrese Haliburton being good again. After an unexplainable slump, Tyrese is back to pushing the pace, dishing out no look passes, lobbing up oops, all while being effective from the 3 point line.

The highlights the last few games aren't as flashy as something like super star Anthony Edwards taking flight and posterizing someone, but the highlights show he's looking like his old self. And, at the end of the day Tyrese can score just as well as a someone like Ant, and step out of sprinter vans with a flock of white chicks just as well as Ant. That's what super stars do.

When I saw the masked Tyrese picks get posted on social media, I thought for sure he'd be unlocking his final form. Unfortunately, we did not get a super hero performance out of masked Tyrese because it made him play like shit. More proof that little things can affect your mindset and mess everything up. Luckily, Haliburton ditched the mask because there's ZERO chance the Pacers win their 3rd straight with masked Hali.

The Pacers haven't exactly been going up against the top competition in the league, but these bottom feeder teams would have handed Indy L's if the slumping Haliburton was stepping on the court. The problems haven't been completely on Haliburton, but if he was able to step up a few bad losses become wins. The real test to see if the old Haliburton is back will be how he performs on the road. His home vs away splits have been insane.

When the Pacers played in Milwaukee right before this 3 game home winning streak, Tyrese played a solid game. Nothing to write home about, but he wasn't looking like a shell of the player he once was. Hopefully that means the old Haliburton is officially back, and not just because Indiana is playing dog water teams at home. But, the eye test says Haliburton is having fun and playing like his old self, and for that I am thankful.
