Congrats To The Minnesota Vikings On Winning The Daniel Jones Sweepstakes - A Backup QB Who Will Be 'Saved' By A Genius Coach And Star WR

There's the outcome basically anyone and everyone predicted. We see what the Vikings are doing with Sam Darnold, a guy who was left for dead because he saw ghosts in New York. Now they are bringing in Daniel Jones as a practice squad player (will be the backup most likely). It's not exactly a secret that Kevin O'Connell loves him: 

Now Jones gets the dream life. He gets to be a backup quarterback with a genius coach, arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL and other weapons. Yeah, if it works for Sam Darnold there's a legit shot that Daniel Jones looks like at least a 3rd round pick. Can't believe the Vikings might get rid of Nick Mullens after doing this: 

Brutal knowing Daniel Jones is gonna take your job. We all know what the outcome is going to be here, right? Sam Darnold is banged up. Daniel Jones gets signed, comes in, wins a playoff game or something and everyone makes fun of the Giants. It's going to happen. That's just where we are as a franchise. It's still the right move to let him go and move on, should have done it a couple years ago.
