Leonardo DiCaprio Needs To Take Notes From Riggs On How To Properly Leave a Fancy Hotel While Being Serenaded
The clip below has gone viral of Leo leaving a hotel in Fiji while being serenaded by the hotel staff. It appears to be a tradition by the hotel workers to do this as a nice gesture to guests. Leo's dismissal has got people calling friends of friends of whom they've met to grab their pitch forks and storm the 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape' star's castle. They want blood. You don't insult the good people of Fiji like this.
If Leo had an ounce of Riggs in him he'd know the proper way to leave a lavish hotel. This is how it's done. It's about respect and honor.
Imagine the headlines today if Leo drew up some fake tears (Riggs' were very real) and manufactured some gratefulness for the staff? They'd be building statues for the guy. Instead he's been made out to be this ruthless, soul-less villain. He's gotta be kicking himself for such a lapse in judgement. How could you not pull a Riggs there?
Also what a terrible fake phone call stunt he tried to pull. If only he learned from the master how to pull that off.
In all seriousness, as someone who hesitates going into Moe's Southwest Grill because they scream "WELCOME TO MOE'S" to every incoming customer I could see why Leo would feel uncomfortable in this spot. Unfortunately for him, he's a megastar whose every move is analyzed with a microscope, and I'm just a nobody. Clean it up Leo, smh.
