Holy Shit, Bart Simpson Is Dead!!!

Every year I blog this video that took me too long to make, every year it does numbers because people love The Simpsons even though they haven't watched a new episode in decades, and every year my career avoids being found dead in a wagon because Portnoy can't say I didn't promote the entire Barstool Store being 20% off for Black Friday. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but if it keeps me gainfully employed at my dream job, I'm gonna keep fake killing this 10 year old until I run out of digital ink to write about him.

Actually I don't know how old Bart is right now considering there was apparently a Simpsons episode earlier this year about his birthday that was actually dubbed The Simpsons Series Finale.

"Bart's Birthday", titled onscreen as "The Simpsons Series Finale" is the thirty-sixth season premiere of the American animated television series The Simpsons, and the 769th episode overall. It aired in the United States on Fox on September 29, 2024. The episode was written by Jessica Conrad and directed by Rob Oliver.

In this episode, celebrities attend a presentation of the series finale of The Simpsons in which Bart believes something is changing with his world. The idea for the episode came as a response to people asking executive producer Matt Selman when and how the series would end. John Cena, Danny DeVito, Tom Hanks, Joel McHale, Conan O'Brien, Mark Proksch, Seth Rogen, and Amy Sedaris guest starred. The episode received positive reviews.
