A Random Royals Fan's Twitter Account Broke The News Of Brady Singer Being Traded By Finding All His Old Royals Gear At A Thrift Store

Check out the scoop here by @BigMacDak! Never know what you'll find after a trip to your local thrift store. Maybe a nice old CD or 2, a bobblehead collection, or maybe a couple boxes of player worn Royals gear! That's what happened here when @BigMacDak went to a thrift store near him and stumbled upon what appeared to be a bunch of Brady Singer's team issued gear. But he's still on the Royals, why would all his stuff be at the thrift store? 

Well you see, that tweet was sent at 2:22 and Brady Singer still was a Royal at that time, or at least to the public he was. Singer was traded to the Cincinnati Reds around 7 PM on Friday Night and BMD seems to have been the first on the news. Where is this guy's credit? Where is Passan to shout him out?

He knew before anyone on the outside that Brady was on his way to Cincinnati! If he was smart he picked up that short sleeve pullover too, that thing is sweeeeeet. Royals baby blue really pops, but this guy was first on the story and should absolutely be credited with it. He was 5 hours ahead of everyone on the beat, that has to be worth something right? Pretty funny to stumble upon some boxes like this and tweet out a joke, only for it to become true. 

I wonder if he was right about Singer just purging his stuff earlier this week or something or if they told him they were going to try and move him. And yesterday just happened to be the day the move was made, have to think the timing of that makes sense. But what a find by this guy, hope he grabbed some of the gear to hold onto and keep. You just never know where you'll find a scoop! 

PS. Will never not think of Brady Singer blowing a gasket over the rain delay in college. Also a fun fact, the player who helps calm him down....Jonathan India, the guy who he was traded for.
