Assbag Coffee Company Charging $344 A Cup ... Bonus : Times I Would Pay $344 For A Drink

NY Post- It’s an enormous price to pay for a little cup of coffee, but the man behind the pitch promises it won’t leave a bitter taste behind as it comes with the sweetener of a share of a dairy farm.

A Scottish dairy is offering what it bills as the UK’s most expensive cup o’ joe: $344 for a flat white — a double shot of espresso topped with a layer of steamed milk and a fleeting work of foam art.

The costly cup is actually a perk for purchasing shares in Mossgiel Organic Dairy’s crowdfunding campaign to enlarge its sustainable operation and produce more milk.

Absolutely insane move to be charging $344 for anything let alone a cup of coffee. Like psychotic behavior. Even if it's for funding for better farming or whatever they are promoting, $344 for a cup of coffee is insane. Luckily not all companies charge insane amounts for their coffee and you can get a reasonably priced cup or pods at very reasonable prices via Stella Blue.

So make sure if you want coffee you buy it from Stella Blue.

Bonus list … here are 3 times I would actually pay $344 for a drink. Now I know I said $344 for any drink is insane behavior but here are three hypothetical situations in which I would pony up the money.

BodyArmor Water/Sports Drink when you are hungover

You know the feeling when your head is pounding you wake up with the spins and your eyes are blinking as much as mine. You have no idea what time it is, where your phone is, and are annoyed you fell asleep in your jeans from the night before. All you know is you DESPERATELY need a water or a sports drink to get into your system. Normally there's a BodyArmor on my dresser within reach but imagine if somehow you were out of that, or couldn't go purchase one.Leaving your house at that time or in that state is a nightmare. If the only option was to venmo for a water I would fork over the $344 if it was the only option.

A Beer/High Noon after a really hard day

Hey listen if we're being honest sometimes a hard day can get you down and you really need a drink. If the day was that bad, and there was an empty fridge on a really hard day … I would consider the venmo for a beverage to ease the pain.

Arizona Iced Tea out of your fridge after a long drive on a Hot Day

I hate driving and I hate long drives even more. I also hate hot days. So being trapped in a car with no option for a beverage would be HELL. Imagine the walk into the house, tired, hot and exhausted and you walk into the fridge and it's barren. You don't want to leave the house, your dying of thirst and you need a drink. You thought you had one last can of your favorite beverage in the fridge but you don't. What do you do? Someone gives me the option of $344 for your favorite drink … I'll send the cash and not think twice.
