Kai Cenat Found A Twitch Streamer Who Has Been Live 24 Hours A Day For The Last THREE YEARS

I will not claim to completely understand the Twitch/streaming world, nor do I really know who Kai Cenat is. I know he's a streamer, a popular one at that, because I see him on my Twitter For You page, but besides that, I don't know like...what he does, what he's good at, what makes him so popular and famous, etc. I just know every 13 year old out there would give me a wedgie for that last sentence, the same way I would be disgusted at them for not knowing every word to Enema of the State. Different eras of famous people, indeed.

But Kai Cenat stumbling upon a woman who has live-streamed herself every day for 3 years is such bananaland I spit out my coffee and I wasn't even drinking any like you read about. I have SO MANY questions. First and foremost, after like...a year of her live streaming herself and nobody catching on, wouldn't that be enough? I feel like if you were good at it, someone would have noticed you after 365 straight days of live streaming. I'm not saying she should give up the passion and love for Twitch streaming all together, but also maybe go on vacation, go to a spa, have a nice dinner out with friends. To go 3 straight years online, turning yourself into the Truman Show, is legitimately insane behavior. There's a line between "love of the game" and "crazy", and she is so far past that line it's not even a tiny dot in the distance anymore. And I'm not trying to be "a hater", I simply cannot comprehend the levels of crazy. Call me old fashioned, but I do think our society has gotten so overly-obsessed with fame and attention that she has completely torpedoed her normal life for a chance at fame. Like make real life relationships! See a sun rise! Volunteer at the old folks home! Sitting at home playing Minecraft for 3 straight years ain't no way to live on this marble.

The funniest part to me though? Kai wasn't like "we need to hire you" or "let's get you on 60 Minutes"...he said hopefully she can be nominated for a Streamer Award. Lmao. You guys get what I'm saying now? Like...she has spent 3 years of her life streaming and the top streamer in the world is like "yeah maybe we can get you nominated for some fake award that actually means nothing at all".

Look, if it makes her happy, great. I don't want to take that away from her. Everyone finds happiness in odd things. You, me, your grandma, everyone. But to be so obsessed with fame that you turn your life into a reality show watched by a few people, come on. That ain't livin'. Hopefully she gets on her sail boat and heads towards the wall. We believe in you! Get out while you still can!
