Nobody Has Ever Lied More Than Joe Schoen - Had The Audacity To Say He Wouldn't Have Changed How The Giants Handled Their QB Situation

There's lying and then there's whatever Joe Schoen is doing here. Maybe - I'm assuming - he doesn't want to piss off John Mara so he can keep his job. I'm sure Mara had a role in keeping Daniel Jones around for another year. No doubt about it. But, we all watched Hard Knocks this offseason. We all have a brain. Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen wanted to trade up to take Drake Maye. It was everywhere and would have been the smartest move to make. 

Who wouldn't want to roll into the season with Daniel Jones, Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito? That's how you save your job. That's how you build a winning culture. There's no reason to lie. We all know that you wish you had a better quarterback and weren't sitting around at 2-8, again. Now all we have is looking at Tankathon and trying to figure out what quarterback we can believe in next. 

It's time to correct it all now. Bench Daniel Jones, keep him in bubble wrap, lose games. That's all that matters the rest of the season. I'm very much in the camp of keeping Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen too. Let them figure out what quarterback should be here. Give them a draft and if it fails, then you move on. This team has quit. This team knows they fucking stink, we all do. But to say you handled the QB situation just fine? The biggest lie told yet.
