I had never heard of this term before but after googling it, and watching a couple youtube videos on it I'm even more confused about this universe, life, and "time" than I already was. 

Schrödinger's cat thought experiment illustrates quantum superposition where a cat is in a state of being both alive and dead with 50% probability until observed.

The act of observation causes the superposition to collapse into a single reality, demonstrating the observer effect in quantum mechanics.

Quantum Entanglement and Reality

The cat's reality is entangled with the outcome of a quantum process, illustrating the concept of quantum entanglement in physics.

The "collapse into a single reality" problem remains one of the greatest unanswered questions in quantum physics, challenging our understanding of reality and perception.

How do people have the brain capacity to think of this stuff? 

And if alternative dimensions, or universes, or realities, or whatever you want to refer to them as do exist, than is that where "deja-vu" comes from? Is that where we go in our dreams? Is that part of the theory of reincarnation?
