First and foremost, what a preposterously nasty goal we just witnessed there. 99 times out of 100, there's just a little too much sauce coming off of that backhand. The bowl of overflowing with a spicy marinara, and it looked like it was going to be a messy cleanup in the kitchen. But realistically, you can see goals like that anywhere. It was disgusting, sure, but the skill level in hockey everywhere is out of control these days. Doesn't matter if it's pros, college, junior, some random Euro league, you can see a goal like that scored anywhere. So that's not what makes this clip so special.
Instead, it's the entire Gopher team making sure to rub the Wisconsin student section's noses in shit on their way out. Let them know about it as the band starts to play in the background. That's what makes college hockey the best. College sports in general, but you just don't this level of tomfoolery anywhere else in hockey.
