JJ Redick Stormed Out Of The Lakers Postgame Last Night After Another Double Digit Loss And Benched D'Angelo Russell For "Level Of Compete" And "Attention To Detail"

The shitshow that is the Lakers season continues. From what started as a glorious 3-0 start (the first time since the Kobe days, and the last time LeBron started 3-0 he won a championship btw) and an even cooler moment in Bronny and LeBron sharing the court has turned sour quickly. The team looks like shit to put it mildly, and because I don't want to bore you to death with basketball analysis like Greenie would, let's just talk about the JJ Redick press conference last night that shows you how bad it's gotten.

There's being benched and then there's your coach using podcast terms like "level of compete" and "attention to detail" to describe your benching. Especially after LeBron is dropping 39/7/6 in Year 22 and can't get an ounce of help. D'Lo sucks and is as good as gone, and the saving grace is that it is sorta nice to have a coach who will actually take action rather than Darvin Ham who would have stood there with his hands in his pockets and told you to go hard on them dudes:

"It wasn't a punishment" is probably the least truthful thing a coach has ever said but I digress. The best part about the press conference was JJ storming off:

Straight out of the LeBron press conference book. Be better tomorrow.

Right the ship fellas.
