"English Teacher" Is A Perfect Show And A Great Example Of America's Youth

It dawned on me that I've been screaming about this new show, English Teacher, for weeks now but never actually blogged about it. It's on Hulu/FX, it was created by/starring Brian Jordan Alvarez, and it's one of the funniest shows on television right now. Full stop.

English Teacher is set in Austin, Texas at a public school present day, covering all the things you'd imagine would come up in high school right now - how kids talk, how they want to be seen, and how they interact with authority. It's almost like Tiktok come to life while Brian's character Evan and the rest of his 30+ year old coworkers try to navigate not getting cancelled, being liked enough to be listened to, and clumsily fighting to shape the youth of America against public school parameters and self important parents. All I can do is tell you to watch it and see for yourselves!!! 

In addition to the show being funny as fuck, Brian Jordan Alvarez has used his ever growing social media platform to advertise the show via Tiktok trend which is, in one word - mesmerizing.
