I Will Not Sleep Until There Is Justice For Pete The Squirrel! Federal Authorities Descended Upon An Upstate New Yorker’s Farm To Confiscate Then Kill A Domesticated Squirrel and Raccoon

So, long story short here, some tik toker, who owns a 150 acre farm and animal rescue in upstate New York, rescued an injured squirrel 7 years ago (and a racoon, the guy just has a heart for hurt animals). 

After which they obviously became  domesticated, and can’t be returned to the wild, so he continues to care for them. 

This is unfortunately illegal in New York State and some fucking loser on the internet who hates seeing other people happy and harming nobody, reported his social media accounts to the authorities. Anonymously of course.

The feds came, removed the animals, then proceeded to conduct a full search of his property removing all his files, ransacking his closets etc for 5 hours. Like he was El Chapo or something. 

They then had the ASPCA euthanize the animals to “check for rabies”.

4 departments were involved, probably $1,000s in man power hours spent to kill a man’s pet squirrel named peanut.

Totally understandable and logical action taken by government authorities. The government in this country is out of control. 

I will not rest until we get justice for Peanut the Squirrel (and Fred The Racoon). I expect heads to roll.

Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak for me.
