Some Online Pranksters Tricked Thousands of People in Dublin To Show Up for a Halloween Party That Didn't Exist
Now this is the work of someone who truly loves the art of the practical joke. Whoever made this website — there seems to be conflicting information as to whether it was created in Illinois or Pakistan — will never meet any of the people who showed up on the streets of Dublin expecting a Halloween parade, only to have their dreams dashed. But it's only by the efforts of people who are enough of pranksters to pull the wool over the eyes of strangers from another country that you get great pranks like this one.
And to be honest, if you looked at that website with generic pictures of Mr. Beast and Ronaldo and thought, "This Halloween parade that I haven't heard about anywhere else looks legit," you deserved to be left stranded on the streets of Dublin parade-less.
I do hope, however, that Dublin puts together the best Halloween parade the world has ever seen in 2025. If the city plays its cards right, they have been handed a fantastic opportunity to turn a massive L into something great.
