Please I Beg Of You, Stop Playing 'New York, New York' After Yankees Losses

I'm genuinely upset I woke up today. Given how sad I was last night, I couldn't believe my body allowed me to continue on. If I had any kind of serious illness that required my will to fight on, I'd be six feet under in minutes.

That 5th inning continues to play back in my head and it may never stop. The odd part about that though is no Yankee fan who has watched this team all year was surprised that's how the season ended. It's what we witnessed all year long. Poorly coached, no fundamentals, and stupid mistakes everywhere you look. They have characteristics of a little league team, which falls back on Boone's leadership. He's not the main reason they lost the World Series by any means, but he doesn't help. His culture which lacks accountability allows errors like that to constantly take place. As I sit here at my desk, thinking about the most efficient ways to end my life, I can't help but be bothered by one specific thing. It's something that has always irked me. Why on Earth do they think it's the right move to play Frank Sinatra's 'New York, New York' after losses? Leaving the stadium after a win as you hear Frank's voice echoing throughout the concourse is euphoria, but after a loss? It's infuriating. Back in the day, Liza Minelli's version of the song was used after losses, but she complained and gave the team a choice. Play her version all the time, or not at all. That's when they switched to Frank's for any result.

When the Dodgers won Game 3 of the World Series it became realistic that they could celebrate the World Series title on the Yankees' field. I began to wonder if the Yankees would in part play 'New York, New York' while that happened since it would coincide with the end of the game. They did in fact do that.

Why man? Just play 'That's Life.' It's such a no brainer decision, but of course they don't operate that way. Just no thought whatsoever put into that decision. It's a microcosm of how this team is run. No common sense whatsoever. Zero fundamentals. Just lazy all around. How do you think it's fine to play your winning song after a loss? Just play nothing if you don't want to insult another artist!

I hate everything. This offseason is gonna kill me. I need a break from this organization before I even begin thinking about what's to come.
