Lead From The Front: Anthony Richardson Admitted He Took Himself Out Of The Game Because He Was 'Tired' And 'Did A Lot Of Running'

Tired? That's what we're going with here. I don't care if it was one play or not, you simply can't admit you benched yourself for one play in the 3rd quarter of a divisional game because you were tired. That's asking for anyone and everyone to make fun of you, scream about you and beg for Joe Flacco. You don't think Joe Flacco's old ass gets tired? He doesn't take himself out. This was the play:

Just say you felt something weird! No one would have screamed as much if you went with the injury route over you're tired. At the minimum say you got the wind knocked out of you. Everyone knows how much that sucks when you're just laying around grasping for air.

Whether it makes sense or not, everyone looks at the starting quarterback as the leader of NFL teams. They are the face of the franchise 90% of the time. They are the ones people like to blame, they are the ones who have to face win/loss record more than any other player. You can't have your starting quarterback take himself out of play for being tired. I've never heard of that before. I don't know how you can sit there and call yourself a leader or demand anything from other players when you do this. It's not like the Colts were getting their ass kicked either and you just wanted out of the game.
