College Basketball Is Everywhere: Law And Order Dropped An Episode Where The Murder Victim Was Based On Dan Hurley, Including Being Offered The UK Job
It's a slow Friday, I know. But, come on, this is a great reminder that college basketball is everywhere. This guy is Dan Hurley, probably. I mean back-to-back titles, offered the job at Kentucky? That's exactly what happened in April. Hell, that's all I did in April. Watch UConn go back-to-back and then didn't sleep for weeks tracking planes and trying to figure out how to sweeten the deal to Andrea Hurley so Dan would take the job. Now he's being portrayed in Law and Order. No idea which version of Law and Order this is, there's roughly 540 of them.
What I really look forward to though? Dan Hurley somehow taking this as a slight against him and the UConn team. He does it with everything. Rank them number 2, he's pissed off. Rank them number 1? He'll be happy but then he'll probably freak out that they have a target on their back. He did both in a way this year alone. He thought the committee was out to get them by giving them the 'hardest' of the regions as the No. 1 seed and then bitched that they were ranked No. 3 coming into the season. It's truly a gift.
I'm sure Hurley will be mad that his character died. No chance Dan Hurley would let that happen. No one is going to steal a watch off of his wrist and get away with it. Just goes to show you that college basketball will be fine. So many people losing their mind over legends retiring and while most are old, we have a new era coming in. Hurley leads that era. He's going to be everywhere, he's going to be the face of the sport and can be have murder victims on TV shows based around him. What a life.
