Rest In Peace Arlene O'Neill: Shirts On Sale Now With 100% Of The Net Proceeds Going To The Three Boys Who Are Now Left With No Parents

Incredibly tragic story rocked my community this week in Westchester county. Arlene O'Neill from Eastchester NY - mother of 3 and teacher at Anne Hutchinson Elementary school - was the victim of a murder-suicide at the hands of her husband. Her three boys (15, 13, and 11 yrs old) are now orphans. Arlene’s brother was just promoted to Assistant Chief of the Yonkers Fire Department where her nephew works as well, and her sister is a police officer along with many cousins who are also members of the police department. Arlene herself was a teacher for 25 years in Eastchester. Her and her whole family have been giving to the community so now it’s time for us to give back.

Shirts have just gone on sale on the Barstool Sports Store, with 100% of the net proceeds going to the O'Neill boys to alleviate some of the burden during this incredibly difficult time for them. I love that when we do these fundraisers for police officers & fire fighters we are able to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars and the charity efforts go super viral. I fear that in a situation like this without a “fallen hero” type rhetoric attached to the tragedy, it doesn’t resonate as much with people. But please bear in mind how hard it’s going to be for these boys. They do not have organizations like the FDNY or NYPD backing them. They don’t get the same coverage on the news. They lose both their parents and they don’t have an organization or an association or any sort of political or social motivations to take care of them. So, it’s up to us. Please buy a shirt to support the boys whether you’re from the area or not. They need all the help they can get.

Below is the link to buy a shirt. Our thoughts go out to the O'Neill boys.
