'Didn't Have Him The Last Few Weeks' - Don't You Dare Ask Antonio Pierce If The Raiders Will Stink Without Davante Adams Or If They'll Tank

We don't need to go through the whole Davante Adams trade. We know it happened, it was only a matter of time because it was always going to happen. But I am interested in seeing how the Raiders talk about it now that he's gone for good. Teams don't let guys sort of dictate things like this and then stay quiet, especially a franchise like the Raiders. Antonio Pierce is also a big time football guy. Don't you dare tell him that the Raiders are going to stink. No shot they would nor do they probably have to since the Raiders aren't that good of a team. 

I'm not sure how much you can say well he was gone the last couple of weeks, so we'll be fine. You beat the Browns. Everyone should beat the Browns. They are fucking trash. But there is something about planning for a game without him. Think the bigger thing is what Davante Adams said about the trade: 

In other words, why the fuck did you let Derek Carr go when it was pretty clear that's why I came here. I know tanking is almost impossible in the NFL. It's not the same as basketball, it's way harder to do successfully and find one single guy in the draft to change your franchise. The Raiders should have a top-5 pick no matter what. That's fine, just take whoever you want there. You don't ask a former Tom Coughlin guy to tank a season. 

All I know is Antonio Pierce doesn't give a shit about tanking or that Davante is finally gone. Adding the death stare in the tweet lets you know it's real. It's Brock Bowers time.
