The Giants Season Is Officially In The Danger Zone Now That Andrew Thomas Is Out For The Year Due To A Lisfranc Injury
Okay, the Giants season was probably already in the Danger Zone after losing that very winnable game against the Bengals to go along with losing the very winnable games to the Commanders and Cowboys earlier this year. But I'm trying to keep a positive state of mind since the Mets are about to play three home games in the NLCS.
Truth be told, I've always believe that if Andrew Thomas goes down, you can probably C***** Da Saeson (not gonna write that out for the same Mets mojo reasons) since his loss turns out our quarterback into a pumpkin, or whatever gourd you consider worse than a pumpkin.
To go along with the avalanche of shit that is currently washing over this season, we now have to worry about Andrew Thomas' future since Lisfranc injuries are no joke and serious leg/foot injuries seem to follow him around, which is an issue that will probably not age gracefully for an offensive lineman comfortably weighing 300+ pounds. AT is the rock of an O-Line that finally showed signs of improvement for the first time since Super Bowl XLVI roughly 12 years ago. So this is potentially catastrophic news for a franchise that seemed to be at least making some progress on the field, which I will illustrate with this Star Wars gif where the Giants are an AT-AT.
Now if you will excuse me, I'm going to convince myself that Evan Neal will play like the stud we all thought the Giants were getting simply by taking over as Left Tackle, as I will illustrate with this very popular Mr. Rogers gif.
For the record, I don't think there's a chance Daboll lets The Big Burger Flipper protect his QB's blindside, which means Jermaine Eluemunor will have to shift after giving us everything we've asked at Right Tackle, which will inevitably weaken the line right before Saquon and the Eagles come to MetLife. Goddammit I hate this sport.
