Things Are Going Great In Dallas - Jerry Jones Basically Threatened To Fire Radio Hosts Mid-Interview For Asking Him About A Terrible Offseason

You don't want to make Jerry mad! Don't make Jerry mad! This is what happens. You get a guy threatening to fire you mid-interview, which I don't know if he has the power to do. I'll be honest, I'm not that up to date with my Dallas radio stations so maybe Jerry has power over this too. Would be hilarious if he fired radio hosts before Mike McCarthy. Then again, he should never fire Mike McCarthy. I want to see posts like this right around lunch time every day:

I mean it's not like he waited to give Ceedee Lamb the extension that everyone knew was coming and cost him time in camp. Not like he spent all this money on Dak Prescott and still needs to pay Micah Parsons. At least he went out and got the offense some help with Zeke Elliott and Dalvin Cook. That's how you build a running game in 2024. You pass on Derrick Henry who was begging to play for you basically and get two guys to combine for a little over 100 yards.

It's clear the radio hosts are the reason the Cowboys keep getting their ass kicked. Impossible to blame anyone else. It's not like Jerry Jones is owner, GM, final decision maker. He's well-known for making sure everyone is involved in building the Cowboys. You don't get to question Jerry Jones about decisions when you're as successful as he has been lately. Do you know how hard it is to make an NFC Championship game? Every team goes 30 years without an appearance there except for the Giants, Eagles, Packers, Panthers, Falcons, Vikings, Rams, Bucs, Seahawks, Bears, Saints, Lions, 49ers and Cardinals. Lesson learned though, don't ask Jerry Jones about his terrible decisions on radio. He'll hold you more accountable than anyone else on the Cowboys.
