The NFL And NBC Need To Do The Right Thing and Flex The Bears vs. Commanders Week 8 Game To Sunday Night Football, And Save Us From Having To Watch Another Dallas Cowboys Disaster

I saw this tweet last night from Brendan and couldn't agree more.

This country is sick and fucking tired of being force fed the Dallas fucking Cowboys in prime time on a weekly basis. As they illustrated so wonderfully yesterday- they are hot garbage. Get them off national television for the rest of the season.

Nobody wants this. Including Cowboys fans.

I think they've reached the point they're sick of being embarrassed in front of the entire rest of the league and country on the regular.

Instead, give us two of the most exciting young stars in the league this season- rookie phenom quarterback Jayden Daniels and the #1 pick and hopefully savior of the Chicago Bears, Caleb Williams, going head to head for the first time in their careers.

PFT put it in writing yesterday that he thinks this is going to be like all the Brady vs. Manning AFC Championship matchups.

And I don't think that's a crazy stretch by any means.

The NFC is and has been wide open for the past few years and it doesn't look like that's changing. Both Washington and Chicago are exceeding expectations 1/3 of the way through the season, with their quarterbacks playing at a level ahead of schedule. All great signs. And they both seem to just a few pieces away from being well-rounded teams. (Chicago desperately needs an offensive line, Washington needs help and playmakers on defense). But at least things are finally looking up for two franchises whose fan bases have had nothing to be optimistic about in ages.

So again, put your hatred for either one of these teams aside and be impartial for a minute.

Would you rather spend next Sunday night watching Dak Prescott poop his pants again in the national spotlight? While Chris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico do their best to polish Jerry Jones' turd product for us for 3 hours?

Or would you rather watch these two go at it, giving us a possible glimpse into the future of the NFC?

p.s. - to be honest, even Collinsworth and Tirico might be past the point of no return with Dak and the Cowboys as evidenced from TWO WEEKS AGO when they were just on SNF and Dak stunk up the joint.
