The Tropicana Field Roof Is Being Ripped Apart Due To Hurricane Milton Which Made Landfall In Florida This Evening

Some more news from Hurricane Milton has occurred, and this won't be a comedy blog, but a little bit of a serious one. Hubbs wrote a great blog this afternoon about just how terrifying Hurricane Milton is:

Since that blog, the hurricane has made landfall and it's hard to know just how bad this kinda stuff is without some time. Intense rain and winds are lashing through the region, and for every viral story like the Lieutenant Dan one, there's going to be a dozen more you never hear about the destruction of this entire thing. No jokes about the Rays in this blog, but for some more context, Tropicana Field was being used to house first responders who are going to help clean up the mess this hurricane makes:

I don't know that I fully even understand how hurricanes work, but storm surge is a real and scary thing. If you're somehow in the evacuation zone still and reading this blog, hunker down and stay safe.

P.S. This dude may be even more of a lunatic than Lieutenant Dan staying in his sailboat:
