There Are Streamers Who Are Traveling To The Hurricane Milton Evacuation Zone To Win An Alleged $70,000 Prize Set By Another Streamer With Just An Air Mattress, Umbrella, And Ramen

There's dumb, and then there's whatever this is. I've written about Lieutenant Dan who is staying on his sailboat amidst attempted evacuations from officials and the entire Internet:

But what if I told you there were streamers who aren't even Florida residents traveling because of a challenge set by another streamer? Well, it's reality after this guy who last I checked had 15,000 concurrent viewers watching him decided he was gonna try and win the prize.

Apparently this challenge was started by some of those Twitter aggregate accounts that tweet out streamer clips and wasn't actually intended for any streamer to go and attempt:

The original $70,000 was offered to friends of the streamer, and some took it as their chance to try and get rich by making content off what is looking to be an extremely scary and dangerous hurricane:

The latest update is that the streamer who allegedly made the challenge in the first place is going into the chats of those there and telling them they aren't going to get paid:

What do you do if you're already there and streaming? Is it too late to evacuate ahead of landfall in the next couple hours? Stupid is as stupid does, so maybe it's time to just ride it out and everybody hopefully stays safe.
