NY Post- No good deed goes un-paw-nished.

A woman in Washington state who fed neighborhood raccoons for decades called 911 after coming home to find more than 100 of the fuzzy masked invaders preventing her from getting inside.

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and said the woman told them she had been feeding the animals from her Poulsbo home for 35 years without incident.

“Somehow the word got out in raccoon land, and they all showed up at her house expecting a meal,” he added.

“Nobody ever remembers being surrounded by a swarm of raccoons. This was a first.”

First things first, credit to this woman for all her humanitarianism and good deeds and helping animals. Credit is due for that for sure. However, I don't know what made her choose raccoons as her animal of choice but good for her nonetheless.  Although, you have to consider that befriending raccoons could lead you to some potential danger, and I wonder if this woman considered that when she fed them for all these years.

Again, awesome move to be helping animals but I can't help but think that raccoons pose a threat. Did she consider that when she did this FOR 35 YEARS !?!?! At any point when she was leaving out scraps or peanut butter or whatever else raccoons eat did she think "hey maybe this could backfire" did she worry "what happens when these rabbid animals have a bad day?"

Crazily I think the answer to both those questions is no she never once considered the backfiring of this. And that's what makes people like this special and I mean that in the nicest way possible. People like me would never consider feeding a raccoon for a day let alone 35 years, but ladies like this are a rarity and what keeps the animals going, just feed them take care of them, and never once consider the downfall … until 100 of them show up at your crib and prevent you from getting in your house, but hey that's the price of doing business.
