Finebaum Caller 'Legend' Absolutely Lost His Shit in an Incredible Rant After Alabama's Loss to Vanderbilt
I really don't know how we get through eight months of every year without college football. It's a miracle our brains are able to go into survival mode for that long without this kind of content.
But then again, once the game we all love is back, most of us are inevitably faced with moments like Legend had on Saturday with Alabama losing to Vanderbilt. The difference is we've all become accustomed to disappointment while Bama fans have had Nick Saban for the better part of two decades and haven't experienced what being a normal program is like since George W. Bush was in office. I'd have a crashout on Paul Finebaum's show, too, if my team went from expecting to be undefeated every season to losing to Vanderbilt in the first year of the new regime.
Kalen DeBoer could still lead Alabama to an SEC title this season and he has guys like Legend comparing his tenure in Tuscaloosa to a spouse cheating on you. There is no sport on Earth better than this one.
In fairness to Legend and the rest of the Alabama fanbase, losing to Vanderbilt is an egregious sin regardless of circumstance. That's the kind of loss that gets you fired if it's in virtually any year other than your first, and I'd argue you shouldn't even be afforded that consideration if you took over one of the most talented college football rosters of all-time.
You just have to accept you're now the wife who cheated a month into the marriage and hope the fanbase is going to stick with you.
