RAVENS WIN THE GAME OF THE YEAR IN CINCINNATI!!!!

WHAT A FUCKING GAME!!!!!!

LAMAR JACKSON PLAYED HIS BALLS OFF. THE DEFENSE WAS A SIEVE BUT MADE 2 GIGANTIC PLAYS WHEN IT MATTERED. JUSTIN TUCKER IS BACK BACK BACK. DERRICK HENRY IS THE ULTIMATE CLOSER.

WHAT A FUCKING WINNNNNNNNN!!!!!!

Seriously man… the Ravens refuse to play a normal football game, and it feels awesome to see another team let one slip away. Especially a road division game against the team that I really consider the existential threat in the AFC North, with a 10+ point lead in the 4th quarter.

Like I said, Lamar Jackson was fucking incredible in the 2nd half today. Was a little shaky in the first half, but still managed to get 14 on the board for the offense. After half, the defense kept dealing him the bad hand of a double digit deficit and he answered the bell time after time after time. Hell, special teams even boned him back backing him for one of those drives back his own 7 and he didn't even blink. Moved the ball methodically down the field and did it quickly, giving his defense every chance to make that key stop to flip control back into the Ravens' hands.

This throw to Isaiah Likely is just another one to add to the highlight reel and came when it was sorely needed.

That cut it to 3 yet again… but it continued to feel like there was zero shot in hell that the defense was going to get off the field on 3rd down and give Lamar a chance to win the game. They needed something weird, a big time takeaway and they finally… FINALLY… got one when Marlo cut in front of a quick slant (which the Bengals were feasting on) and stole the rock.

Of course…  it couldn't be easy, as the Ravens moved into the fringes of field goal range and stalled out (and should've had a fresh set of downs on a clear no call when Mark Andrews got facemasked)

That left it to JT to shake off a slump and bang a 56 yarder to extend the game… and the GOAT does GOAT stuff and hit a gorgeous power fade to ride the left to right wind and split the uprights in half.

I tried to tell y'all the guy was fine. Didn't take too long for him to prove it…

Sure enough each team had the game right in their crosshairs in OT. It would've been so disgusting for the last memory of that game to have been that Lamar fumble after the way he balled out.

The Bengals did the kinda things that we've made a habit of in collapses. That botched FG snap was as brutal as it gets, but there is no excuse for Zac Taylor not putting the ball into Joe Burrow's hands there to at least take a couple shots down the field and try to win the game that way.

Oh well.

King Henry had a pretty easy going day, so he was fresh at the right time and made the big play to go win the game.

Bam 3-2 and off the mat after an 0-2 start. Sent the Bengals back to 1-4 and a deep dark place that we know all too well.

Plenty of ball left, but I considered this to be the toughest divisional road game of the year and Lamar and the boys went out and stole it.

FUN FUN GAME AGAINST THE COMMIES NEXT WEEK. LET'S ROLL.
