Leon Rose Continues To Strike Fear Into The Rest Of The League - NBA Executives Think The Wolves 'Won The KAT Trade', Most Likely Out Of Jealousy

Oh you think I wouldn't like this as a Knicks fan? This is exactly what I want to hear. We don't know who Windhorst is talking about here but I can guarantee they haven't been as good as Leon Rose. That's the only executive who I care about and what opinion I want to hear. The man has turned the Knicks into a franchise where they are finding loopholes in the CBA, they are making the playoffs and they are making smart moves. I've never been able to say that before in my life and until Leon Rose walked into the Knicks front office. Hell, arguably most importantly, he kept James Dolan and his stink away from the team.

I'm starting to think executives are scared of the Knicks. Only way to come to this specific conclusion before any games are played. The Knicks aren't all-in on season, this is a group that's signed together for the next 3. Fine by me! The Wolves could lose Julius Randle after this season, we don't know how they are going to look. Plus, as much as I love Randle, we need to see him and Ant figure it out together. How many times do we see teams struggle when this sort of move is made? KAT already knows Thibs. He has Thibs smiling and laughing! That tells me all I need to know about who won the trade.

This isn't the same old Knicks. This isn't me claiming we're going to win the NBA Finals. This is me saying the Knicks went out, made a smart move and got a guy who can space the floor, fits into the Knicks system and helps fill a void at the 5 spot. Yeah, we need depth there, we need a guy to come in and help defend, we need Mitchell Robinson healthy. But the Knicks did what they had to do. I declare the Knicks winner of the trade since this is all we have to do this week.
