'We Can't Go Out There And Make The Plays' - Doug Pederson Quickly Blames The Jags Players For Another Loss, Thinks It's Dumb To Think He Might Get Fired

Last week Jerry talked about how Doug Pederson broke Trevor Lawrence, will eventually get fired. Fair all the way around. Remember when Trevor Lawrence was good? Sure he was never best in the league or anything like that but the man was playing in the playoffs. Now?

Well, now we're getting this after the Jags go to 0-4

Yeah, to a degree he's right. The players can't suck. They have to make plays. But the regression? That's all on the coaches. Pederson was supposed to be this quarterback guru and offensive guy. The Jags are hard to watch and not just the NFL kinda stinks right now hard to watch. They flat out suck. But good news, Jags fans. Doug isn't worried about getting fired

It's strange! I love the deflection because of how these dudes brains work. The Jags haven't won since December of 2023 (against the Panthers, if that counts). They are 0-4 this year. In fact that win over the Panthers is their only win in the last 10 games. That's job security right there. Blame other people, question anyone in the press who thinks you're doing a bad job or giving you any sort of ideas:

If (when) the Jags lose again, Doug Pederson needs to keep turning more heel. We know the Jags front office are wrestling guys. Just full on blame the players. No quick backtracking or anything like that. Throw every single player under the bus and keep saying you're not getting fired. Meet up with the Young Bucks and see how to lean into the heel angle. It's the one thing he has going for him right now because this team stinks. Again, there's a lot of bad in the NFL but the Jags are on the shortlist of awful.
