Alabama Is Embarrassing a Georgia Team That Hadn't Lost a Regular Season Game Since 2020

Holy shit. I didn't think we'd ever see Georgia get beat like this again under Kirby Smart, much less by Alabama in its first year post-Nick Saban. This is a bloodletting of epic proportions.

It's 30-7 at halftime and Alabama should probably have at least 10 more points if it weren't for an unfortunate tipped interception in the red zone and an egregious missed pass interference call — not to even mention the additional near pick six. The Crimson Tide is beating Georgia through a half like it's Western Kentucky. I've never seen anything like it.

Carson Beck looks completely lost and has seemingly gone from a Heisman Trophy contender to someone I'm not sure Georgia can compete for a championship with regardless of how well everyone else around him plays. UGA's linebackers look like they have bricks tied to their ankles. This one half of football has made me question everything I thought I knew about this college football season.

What a statement by Alabama. We may owe Kalen DeBoer an apology.
