Lead From The Front: Kevin Kisner Promises To Rip His Shirt Off On The Course If Max Homa Hoops One This Week At The Presidents Cup

This right here is why Kevin Kisner is an assistant captain this week at the Presidents Cup. It's a new era (or at least soon to be) with Team USA and these things. We have Keegan Bradley as captain in Bethpage next year at the Ryder Cup. Time to get rid of the boring, stuffy guys like Zach Johnson and bring in some new blood. Kisner will be on the shortlist to be captain one day. Everyone loves him, he can fire the boys up. 

This though? This is leadership. This is accountability considering he stated it back during the Solheim Cup: 

This is how you bond with the fellas. You offer something like Kiz going tarps off, despite admitting it might be gross looking and kick the International Team's ass again. Get the bad taste out of the mouth from last year's Ryder Cup and celebrate the Presidents Cup in Canada. I do agree with what people said that Kiz needs to have Ain't No Hobby painted on his chest just to be safe if this happens. 

Honestly this is what the Presidents Cup should be. I love these team events and think we need to find a way to give us one more whether it's the Olympics or a random event to break up the regular 72-hole stroke play season. Love the mental warfare during singles matches and how the pairings work. Can't do it every week obviously but once a year is the perfect reminder of how this sport should be fun. We need guys like Kiz to rip their shirts off. Do things that seem like no-no's for regular golf. Make it a party. Give me the shit talking and near golf scuffle like we had last year over HatGate and celebrating. Now it's up to Homa. He has to live up to his part of the deal. No pressure.
