"I'm Not A CTE Guy. I Just Don't Believe In It" -Stone Cold Steve Austin Says CTE Isn't Real, And That's The Bottom Line

There's been a ton of research and awareness being brought towards repeated traumatic brain injuries over the years. We've been finding out more and more about how the lives of professional athletes are significantly altered after their playing careers are over if they've suffered multiple concussions. There have been studies, there have been lawsuits, there have been advancements in both equipment technology and player safety protocol in order to subdue the amount of traumatic brain injuries these athletes suffer.

Guess what, bitch? Turns out it was all a lie. Because Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn't believe in any of that shit. CTE isn't real and that's the bottom line, because Stone Cold said so.

"I'm not a CTE guy. I just don't believe in it". Incredible quote from the Texas Rattlesnake. As if CTE were a religion or like saying the Earth is flat. Guy just simply does not believe in any of that mumbo jumbo.

And now who are you going to listen to? A bunch of nerd doctors who probably spent most of their life being stuffed in a locker, or Stone Cold Steve Austin? Easiest choice in the world, if you ask me. Until some doctor can get into the ring and put Stone Cold down for a 3-count, CTE doesn't exist. You can bring all the studies and data that you want, but your ass is still going to get stunner'd into next Tuesday. If I were the NFL, I'd hire Stone Cold immediately.

Sidenote: In hindsight, it's absolutely hilarious the dude who had a career going around smacking people in the head with metal chairs doesn't give a shit about brain injuries.
