You gotta be a crazy person to throw shit at Joe Burrow during a game where your defense gave up touchdowns to the Commanders, multiple even! Can't imagine watching my team do that. Hell, they couldn't even force a punt. Actually, you know what? Go ahead and piss off Joe Burrow even more, I like that idea. 

The fact is the Bengals are back to being what we know them as. A dysfunctional franchise, making wrong decisions and losing games. Everyone assumed the Bengals would be back to being Super Bowl favorites because Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase. Slight problem when the other side of the ball is trash and this is where the mistakes come in: 

There's the Tee Higgins franchise tag situation, there's Ja'Marr Chase and his contract situation. There's now Joe Burrow having a meeting with Zac Taylor the moment the game ends. Bengals fans can talk all the shit they want, complain about refs and the Chiefs, but it's time to look at your own team. Things aren't exactly great. 

The only saving grace is they play a garbage schedule

You gotta assume the Bengals need to go 10-4 or at least 9-5 to have a shot at the playoffs? That feels safe. The AFC North is whatever, so you still have a shot to make a run there, but you gotta get to 9 wins to get in the playoffs. Good luck. Like I said, at some point it's not just Burrow bailing them out. This team is all over the place, especially on defense.
