Marshall's Head Coach Says That Ohio State's Offense Is On The Same Level As Joe Burrow's 2019 LSU Tigers

So before this past Saturday's game vs Ohio State, Marshall head coach Charles Huff tried to feed the Buckeyes some rat poison by calling them the best team he's ever seen on film. I have no problem with that, and if I were ever a 40 point underdog, I'd likely do the same. The only way to beat a team with that big of a talent advantage is for them to sleep walk and you to treat it like the biggest game of your entire life. And through 1 possession of Saturday's game, it appeared the formula was there.

Now from there the Buckeyes woke up and spanked a very good Marshall team every which way. I commend Coach Huff for having his team ready to go, but at the end of the day, the talent gap was too much and Ohio State won by 35. After the game, Coach Huff was asked if what he saw on film was the reality. He had much more praise than that….

"Offensively, absolutely. Defensively, they smother you. Offensively, I mean, 2019 LSU, 2021 Alabama, they're probably in that realm. They're really really good."

Listen, this guy knows ball. He's been with the Bills, Penn State, and Alabama. You think he doesn't know what he's talking about? And now that he's the head coach of Marshall, all he's done is lead them to a winning record over 3 years and 3 bowl games. The dude can coach ball….and he says Ohio State's offense is right up there with the great LSU team of 2019.

Are they going to be tweeting about how unfair it was that Will Howard, TreVeyon Henderson, Quinshon Judkins, and Jeremiah Smith were able to play together 100 years from now? I think so. And so does Charles Huff.
