Uh Oh: Travis Kelce Basically Did Nothing For The 3rd Straight Week, Got Caught Looking Fucking Miserable On The Bench

Is this likely just due to the fact that it's late in the 1st half and the Chiefs are losing? Yeah, no shit. But welcome to the NFL where anything involving the Chiefs or Travis Kelce is just going to blow up no matter the situation. The fact remains that Kelce has done basically nothing for 3 straight games, even Cris Collinsworth was left flabbergasted 

He has 8 catches for 69 yards this season. Some of it is defenses taking him away, making Rice/Worthy make plays. That all happens. But you still expect someone like Kelce to have a big game the first 3 weeks. I don't care if he's older or basically played 14 seasons when you count playoff games already. The man looks pissed off and wants the ball, not the first player to ever feel that way. Mahomes even acknowledges it: 

There's a damn good chance that Kelce figures it out and has some big games coming up. Welcome to the NFL, I know. Especially this year when offenses look terrible, most notably in the passing game. Fact is the Chiefs are still 3-0 and Kelce hasn't done anything yet. Look across the league and there's basically no tight end you feel great about. LaPorta hasn't lived up to the hype yet, Kittle is hurt, Andrews is non-existent, Kincaid is still waiting to get going, Bowers has been alright but didn't do anything against the Panthers, Kelce is doing nothing. It's a league wide problem right now.
