A Message To The Haters (Of Which There Were Many) That Doubted The Guardians This Year

They said we hired too inexperienced of a manager when Terry Francona retired. They put our Win Total at 79.5, projecting us to finish below .500 and third in the division.....and the analysts said hammer the UNDER. Then Shane Bieber got hurt two weeks into the season and they said the sky was going to fall. But we kept winning....

So then the haters decided that having the best record in the MLB after 20 games wasn't something to get excited about. So we kept winning. And even when Steven Kwan got injured and was ruled out for a month, we kept winning. June 1st? Still in 1st. So the haters moved the goal post once again and said come back at the All-Star game. Okay, fine.

But they still doubted us, saying we didn't do enough at the Trade Deadline to keep winning. But we did….and we did….and we did. And now, you look up, and we've got 90 wins, are AL Central Champions, and have a Magic Number of 2 to clinch the 2 seed and a first round bye into the ALDS.

* Apologies to the hotel bathroom in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, but when you clinch, you clinch. I think I got the stains out to the point where we won't get charged a security fee, but I don't know what they're going to do about the smell.

Anyways, congrats to the Guardians. This is one of the most fun teams I've ever been around in my life. I'm sure everyone's going to say wow dude, celebrating a Division Title? Wait until _. My rebuttal is that if I listened to you all this entire season, we wouldn't even be here right now. Keep doubting.
