James Madison Has 53 Points Against North Carolina AT HALFTIME

Holy shit, UNC. Have some pride.

James Madison went into Kenan Stadium today as a 10-point underdog and played the first half like it was a 35-point favorite over an FCS team. The Dukes finished the half with 418 yards and 53 points, scoring a touchdown on five consecutive drives at one point — and those numbers are with a fumble in UNC territory and two touchdowns on defense and special teams. This was one of the most clinical halves you'll ever see from a college football team, let alone by a double-digit underdog.

I don't think anyone mistook North Carolina for a national title threat this season, but it's safe to say we have have found a new contender to represent the Group of Five in the College Football Playoff after this performance.
