Sad: Louisville Head Coach Jeff Brohm Is Getting Ready For ACC Play By Still Whining About How Kentucky Kicked Their Ass 10 Months Ago
I know there's not a lot Kentucky football can brag about, but beating Louisville's ass on a regular basis is one of those. 5-game winning streak, the Lamar fumble, ruining seasons, all that has happened. But we haven't played in 10 months and we don't play again until November. Don't tell Jeff Brohm that. You'd think he'd be worried about Georgia Tech, but nope, he's still bitching and moaning about refs against Kentucky - a game that saw 3 total penalties and declined a holding call against Kentucky.
But, hey, don't tell Jeff Brohm that they blew the 4th quarter or that he kicked it to Barion Brown for a touchdown or that Ray Davis had 3 touchdowns. It was the refs, clearly. This is what happens when you're the little brother in a rivalry, one that is heated between fans. So much so that Kentucky fans (this guy isn't me, I promise) feels the need to get over devastating losses by taunting Louisville fans.
Everyone needs to cope their own way. For Jeff Brohm it's bringing up that he thinks Kentucky got help from SEC refs (they didn't).
I don't want to give Louisville any tips here, but I'd be a little more focused on ACC play and Georgia Tech. Actually, no, you know what, go ahead and keep talking about Kentucky. I'd enjoy a couple of losses here. I don't understand the people who want rivals to be awesome before their game. I want Louisville to lose every game, it's enjoyable to watch that happen. Maybe this year you won't turn it over 3 times too. That's probably where I'd start the complaining.
