Cillian Murphy Has Entered The Territory Where I Will See Anything He's In. The "Small Things Like These" Trailer Looks Great
I watched this trailer. I was completely captivated and yet based on this trailer alone I couldn't even really begin to guess what it's about. Doesn't matter. I am seeing it. Cillian Murphy has that cachet for me now. Every time he's been in something it's been great. Batman villain...scary as fuck. Red Eye villain...scary as fuck. I LOVED Peaky Blinders. Great in Dunkirk. He was great in Oppenheimer. First thing I ever saw him in was "The Wind That Shakes The Barley" about the Irish rebellion and I can't recommend that enough. He crushes everything he's in and now it feels like he's at the point where he can be extremely selective with his projects. "Small Things Like These" seems artsy, dark, and brooding...perfect for Murphy. I can't wait. I feel like he and Di Caprio are the only guys on my list where I go see the movie no matter what. This one looks right up my alley. Sad, depressing, Irish shit. Feel it deep in my DNA
PS: Speaking of "Red Eye" I think that is the movie where Rachel McAdams looks the hottest.
Something about those eyes and that hair that do it for me in this movie. This is why McAdams is my all-time #1 celebrity crush.
