This 5-Star OL That Led His Team Onto the Field With a Waffle House Flag Needs To Receive Infinite NIL Money
Nixa High School in Missouri has an absolute superstar taking the field every Friday night and his name is Jackson Cantwell. I would have described him that way if the only thing I knew about him was the fact that he led his team out while carrying a Waffle House flag, but it turns out he's an actual superstar. Cantwell is the No. 1 offensive tackle in the country in the 2026 recruiting class. So this guy has more than enough talent to match the swag.
I don't know if Cantwell said this explicitly, but the reason he presumably carried the flag on Friday night is because Waffle House CEO Walt Ehmer passed away earlier last week. This kid is a true patriot.
I try to not get too involved with recruiting as it pertains to Tennessee because you're only going to get 10 percent of the players you're targeting and then at least half of those will end up sucking anyway, so 95 percent of recruits you're spending time talking about are worthless. However, I am demanding Josh Heupel and Co. do whatever it takes to land this kid. I will chip in a nice chunk of change to the Volunteer Club if it can be proven to me that money is going to Jackson.
This is the kind of guy you build a program around.
