Really Gotta Hand It To The Panthers - Each Week They Find A New Way To Show The World How Much They Are A Ruined Franchise

A week ago Hubbs wrote this blog about Bryce Young. Very fair, in fact you can basically guarantee this will be the worst trade in NFL history. It's going to fly by the Herschel Walker deal. Why? Because the Panthers played again. That's all they had to do to keep coming up with new ways to show how awful they are. There's this stat: 

In case you're wondering, yes, that's 5 complete games without a lead. The White Sox are even laughing at that. It's nearly impossible to not have the lead in an NFL game for 5 games. You can even go as far as saying they aren't competitive in those games, forget the lead. Then there's, you know, Bryce Young: 

Again, it's not that Bryce Young sucks. Young quarterbacks suck often. He's historically bad. He's historically bad while CJ Stroud is looking like a future All-Pro. Then you remember rumors like this 

Meanwhile guys like Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield (you know, former Panthers quarterbacks) are playing well. It's honestly a shame the Panthers don't have 162  games to play to see if they can be worse than the White Sox. It's close. All I know is I'm excited for week 3 just to see Bryce Young go like a perfect 30-for-30 and throw for 10 yards. Something dumb like that is going to happen. It truly is incredible how bad they are and really need some new dumb stat to come out each week to show it.
