The UFC Noche Intro At The Sphere Was Fucking Awesome

HOLY SHIT! I gotta be honest - I thought the Sphere was mind blowing before, but I now realize I hadn't even seen anything yet.

All of the cool UFC Noche backgrounds the prelims featured don't even hold a candle to the back-to-back mini-movies we just watched. We had planets crashing into the Sphere (I ducked, I won't lie), giant versions of the main card fighters looking down at us from space, and the first chapter in the UFC's love letter to Mexico, which began at the start of civilization and created an awesome Aztec style environment for the first fight of the night....

Throughout the night, more chapters of this movie will play, advancing us through time in Mexico - eventually ending with our main event in the future of Mexico. What does the future of Mexico look like? I have no idea, but we're about to find out.

Maybe we'll get a giant Dana Blanco in a spaceship or something!

They're even having the ring girls change to match the environment around them!

After that first taste of what's to come, I think I'm as excited for these Sphere movies as I am the fights tonight. I've never seen anything like this place in my life, and the visuals couldn't live up to the hype any more. I hope it's translating on TV, because this is fucking awesome.

Feels like we're watching a fight in the middle of friggin Coco! Dana's gonna pull out a guitar and start singing 'Remember Me' any second, I'm sure.
