Oklahoma State -7.5 Is One of the Most Miraculous Covers in College Football History

Through the first half against Arkansas, Oklahoma State -7.5 was looking like one of the worst bets of the weekend. The Cowboys were down 21-7 at the break and even if they found a way to come back and somehow win the game, there was no way they could win by at least eight.

And then college football happened.

OSU scored the next 21 points in the game to take a 28-21 lead before the Razorbacks tied the game again in the fourth quarter. The teams then traded field goals in the final minute to send the game to overtime.

But now the only way the Cowboys could cover would be to have the teams match each other in overtime, get the ball first in double overtime, score a touchdown and convert the mandatory two-point conversion and then stop the Razorbacks. And somehow, that's exactly what happened.

OSU's win percentage was down to as little as 8 percent during the game, so I can't even imagine what the likelihood of covering would have been. Arkansas outgained the Pokes 648-385 and had 13 more first downs. If you had Arkansas today, I am so very sorry.
