It Just Means More: Fox29 Philly Anchor Mike Jerrick Gets A Brazilian Wax On Air To Celebrate The Eagles Season

Mike Jerrick is a legend's legend. The man has been anchoring Good Day Philadelphia for as long as I can remember. I remember being a wee little Jordie getting ready to leave for middle school in the morning and there's Mike Jerrick doing and saying some ridiculous shit in the morning on Fox29. 

So if there's anybody out there who doesn't need to get their taint waxed on live television to solidify their spot in Philly media, it's Mike Jerrick. But this is a man who just wants it more than anybody else out there. He doesn't do it for himself, but rather for the love of the game. For the love of the city. And most importantly, for the love of the Birds. 

Name one other 74-year-old in the media who would get their dick and nuts waxed because the Eagles are about to start their season in Brazil. You can't. I just wish that Fox would have bit the bullet on whatever FCC fines they would have got and actually showed the goods here. All of Philadelphia deserves it. 

By the way--I can't imagine this was Mike Jerrick's first time getting a Brazilian. There just wasn't as much pain behind those eyes as you imagine. Either way, Philly now has news anchors getting Brazilian waxes and beat reporters having their wives tweet for them while they're over in Brazil. Philly media wants this game and they want it bad. Now we just need the Birds to go out there and deliver.
